🌿 About the Role

As the NUM, you will be responsible for leading the clinical and operational functions of the Aged Care unit. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining high-quality, person-centred care, supporting your team, and upholding best practices in line with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Aged Care unit

• Lead a dedicated team with confidence and compassion

• Ensure clinical governance and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards

• Provide mentorship, support, and professional development for staff

• Collaborate with residents, families, and the broader multidisciplinary team

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strategic planning

👩‍⚕️ About You

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

• Demonstrated leadership experience in aged care or NDIS health settings

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal support and make confident decisions

• Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, clinical best practice, and accreditation processes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Minimum 3 years experience working in an Aged Care Facility

• Postgraduate qualifications in management or aged care (desirable)
